Description:
OD Controlled O-Rings are used in sealing applications where the critical dimension of the seal is the outer diameter of the O-ring.
 
Features:
O-Rings are made from materials that match the fluids, temperatures, and pressures found in Cat engines and machines. These materials are resistant to wear and protrusion and provide superior resistance to seal compression tools. Additionally, certain O-Rings are coated with PTFE to minimize seal distortion and cutting during installation.
The sizes of our O-Rings are consistently held to tight tolerances to ensure they fit properly into seal grooves with the required seal compression.

Applications:
OD Controlled O-Rings are used in numerous static and dynamic joints across Cat machines and engines. These include ORFS (O-Ring Face Seal) and STOR (Straight Thread O-Ring) couplings and adapters.

PTFE coating protects O-rings from installation damage and provides ease of assembly.
